Translated to Peru in 1973 he returned to Britain in 1978 as Vicar of St Cyprian's, Edge Hill〔During this time he was also an assistant bishop in the Diocese of Liverpool > Who’s Who (ibid)〕 before another spell in South America. He died on 1 October 2008.
